The Solovievs and Ross School have reached a confidential resolution of the lawsuit concerning events that took place in early 2020 prior to the tenure of the current administration and Board. While the terms of the agreement remain private, the circumstances that led to this matter have prompted meaningful reflection. Ross School acknowledges that Hayden Soloviev did not feel comfortable returning for his senior year and regrets that he did not benefit from continuing at the school through graduation. Ross School recognizes that Hayden consistently demonstrated integrity, responsibility, and a strong commitment to the community throughout his time at the school and was respected for his leadership. Ross School affirms its mission to provide a respectful and productive learning environment for all students. Under the leadership of the current administration and Board, Ross School proactively reviewed its policies, reporting procedures, and oversight measures designed to further strengthen appropriate interpersonal conduct, accountability, and respect for all members of the school community. Ross School extends its sincere wishes to Hayden and the Solovievs for continued success in their future endeavors. In recognition of Hayden Soloviev’s leadership and scholarship as a Ross student, Ross School has created the Hayden Soloviev need-based scholarship for current Ross students for non-tuition costs.
