Coach Virva Hinnemo is a brown belt under Professor Greg Melita of Hampton’s Jiu Jitsu. Virva is head coach of the East Hampton satellite program which was founded a year and a half ago to offer Jiu Jitsu all the way from East Hampton to Montauk. Coach Virva has been teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Ross Upper School for the past two years and runs a full BJJ program for adults and children in the lower-level gym at Ross Tennis Center.
