CHILDREN'S CLASSES
A student's progression in Jiu Jitsu is determined by four key criteria:
> Technical Skills: Students are evaluated on their ability to perform techniques correctly and effectively. This is often assessed through drills, sparring, and games for younger students.
> Attendance and Time: Consistent attendance and the time spent training at a specific belt level are important factors in a student's development.
> Attitude and Behavior: A positive attitude, good behavior, and respect for instructors and training partners are crucial for promotion.
> Instructor Evaluation: Ultimately, the instructor's assessment of a student's overall progress and readiness determines their promotion.
For older students, participation in local competitions can accelerate the promotion process.
Please note: A gi (Jiu Jitsu attire) is required in class for ages 7 and up. A gi is not mandatory for ages 4–6.
