Four Cosmos Awarded in New York Film Festival

Film Winners Four Ross School seniors won prizes in the NY Alliance Film Festival, which recognizes excellence in filmmaking from students at independent schools throughout New York state.

Jonas Linmann-Feuerring '17 won first place in the experimental category for his film Fiji, which chronicled his experiences during Field Academy.

Alex Lawson '17 won first place in the documentary category for his film Off-Season, which he produced for his Senior Project. The film focuses on a group of East Enders committed to surfing during the winter.

Mingwei Gao '17 won second place in the animation category for her film Multiplicity, which she created for her Senior Project. Multiplicity is an artistic portrayal of someone living with dissociative identity disorder.

Lucia Robinson '17 took third place in the long-form narrative category for her film Better Than Here.
