Ross School welcomed Dr. Kieran McNulty to its Upper and Lower School campuses this week to speak with students and serve as a resource for faculty teaching lessons connected to the school’s Spiral Curriculum thread on Migration.
Kieran, now a professor of anthropology at University of Minnesota, and has a long history with Ross, teaching at the school for several years beginning in 2002, and continuing to serve as a science mentor after he left. He is in New York to deliver the first talk in a series celebrating the 50th anniversary of City University of New York’s anthropology program. Along with his presentation, titled “50 Years of Progress: Untangling Ape and Human Origins,” Kieran will be discussing his most recent field work in East Arica.
