The New York State Public High School Athletic Association selected Ross School to receive its Award of Excellence. This award is granted to athletic programs where a minimum of 75% of varsity student-athletes hold a grade point average of 90.0 or greater.
Being recognized with this award reflects the impact of Wellness in Ross’s Spiral Curriculum, as the school encourages students to balance both individual and collective achievements.
“Our Athletics program is an extension of the classroom, and our coaches stress that,” said Athletic Director Howard Brown. “At the same time, Athletics and Wellness are a part of our curriculum, so we strive for excellence in both fields.”
