Students Talk About Benefits of Interdisciplinarity at Ross

One of the fundamental features of the Ross School Spiral Curriculum is the way in which content and practices from multiple domains are interwoven in learning experiences from Early Childhood all the way through grade 12. Cultural History, World Languages and Literature, Science, Mathematics, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Media Studies and Technology, and Wellness all inform students’ learning at every grade level in a holistic and coherent fashion, through project-based learning and interaction with art and artifacts. In this video, students ranging from kindergarten to grade 12 share their assessments of the benefits of this type of interdisciplinary education.
