Courtney Sale Ross and her late husband, Steven J. Ross, recognized that preparing students to meet the challenges of the 21st century required pioneering models that would transform education. The Ross School vision attracts scholars from around the world who embrace the challenge of designing a global, integrated curriculum that addresses the changing realities of the future. Over the last 23 years, Ross School has become a leading laboratory for educational excellence.
The Steven J. Ross Scholarship Fund was established in 1991 at the School’s inception by Mr. and Mrs. Ross to help provide children from varied socioeconomic backgrounds with an exceptional Ross education. This year, over $3 million in financial assistance helped more than 125 local children attend Ross. The SJR fund is crucial to providing that assistance.
