During the week of March 24–28, faculty and staff at Ross School were given the royal treatment by the Parents Association in appreciation of staff members’ dedication to the students and our community. From a party at Race Lane in East Hampton on Monday to waiter service in the Cafés during the week to cheerful tulips on Friday, the events spread smiles across the Upper and Lower School campuses.
“Thank you to the PA for all that they did last week to show their appreciation to the Ross faculty and staff,” said Patty Lein, head of Upper School. “It was a wonderful week of festivities, surprises, and, of course, great food!”
Ben Bonaventura, assistant head of Upper School agrees, adding, “Our parents have been fantastic to work with this year. They are so supportive of all we do here at Ross and are extremely generous to our staff and students.”
On Friday, Connie Judson, Community Programs coordinator, was surprised with a tulip by parent Betsy Colby. “What lovely prizes, thoughtful gifts and generosity. It was so nice to have something special to look forward to every day,” she said.
At the Lower School, the PA provided students with T-shirts that read, “We Love Our Teachers.”
“It is such a gift every day to work with our students, teachers, staff, and parents. Their special show of appreciation is just one of the many reasons we extend our sincere thanks to the Parents Association for all they do to support us and Ross School,” said Jeanette Tyndall, head of Lower School.
Thank you, Parents Association. We appreciate you!
