Q. Do you hold Open Houses/Information Sessions?
A. We hold Information Sessions throughout the year on our Lower and Upper School campuses. For information on upcoming information sessions, please visit the Admissions Calendar. Ross School admissions officers also travel frequently.

Q. What is the application process for students in pre-nursery through grade 1?
A. All applicants are required to have a school visit. Children applying to pre-nursery through grade 1 will be evaluated in small groups by a member of the staff.

Q. What is the application process for grades 2 through grades 6?
A. All applicants are required to have a school visit. Students applying to grades 2 through 6 will visit a class and be evaluated by a member of the staff.

Q. What is the application process for international applicants?
A. International applicants are required to have an interview (to be held either in person or via video conference) and must submit official TOEFL (Test of English Foreign Language) scores and official SSAT results. Information on the TOEFL is available online at www.ets.org.

Q. Do you require any testing for admissions?
A. Students applying to grades Pre-K–5 are not required to submit testing, but are required to have an on-campus evaluation. Students applying to grades 6–12 are required to submit the ERB, SSAT, PSAT or some form of standardized testing. International applicants are required to submit the SSAT, PSAT as well as an English Proficiency test (TOEFL, SLEP, or IELTS).
